Master Trinketeer turns every artifact token you make into a 1/1 Thopter with flying, and then pumps your entire army of Servos, Thopters, and Constructs for three mana at instant speed. At four mana for a 3/3 with no evasion, the body is mediocre — you're here for the passive and the activated ability, full stop. Pia Nalaar, Consul of Revival is the clearest proof of concept: she makes tokens on her own and wants exactly this kind of anthem sitting in play.

In Commander, Master Trinketeer slots cleanly into any artifact-token shell — Breya, Etherium Shaper, Urtet, Remnant of Memnarch, or any Thopter-dense list where the passive anthems a board that already wants to exist. The four-mana slot is competitive in those decks, but the combination of token upgrade and activated pump is real enough to earn its seat. In competitive constructed formats like Modern and Pioneer it never found traction — four mana for a static anthem with no immediate board impact is too slow, and dedicated artifact token strategies there have more efficient payoffs. Legacy and Vintage have the card available but zero incentive to register it. Commander is the only format where Master Trinketeer is actually a reasonable include.
