Master of the Veil card art
Master of the Veil lets you flip a face-down morph creature into its face-up form and then hide it again — resetting ETB triggers, re-enabling morph abilities, and blanking your opponents' information all at once. The cost is a four-mana, 2/2 body that does nothing without morph support, so it's a strict build-around; Rattleclaw Mystic, for example, gets to produce mana on the way up and bank the untap trigger on the way back down.

Format Analysis

Master of the Veil is legal in Commander, Legacy, Vintage, and Oathbreaker, and that's the full list of formats where it sees any consideration. In Commander it has a real home — morph and manifest synergies show up across Temur, Sultai, and five-color goodstuff builds, and the ability to loop face-down creatures multiplies any ETB payoff in the 99. Legacy and Vintage are too fast and too linear for a four-mana do-nothing without an immediate board impact; Master of the Veil simply doesn't have a shell there. Commander is where this card lives.

Price Context

Current price

$0.24 bulk tier

At $0.24, Master of the Veil is bulk — you're picking it up as an afterthought in a cart, not hunting it down. It's a narrow enough card that the price is unlikely to move unless a morph-focused precon pushes demand.
