Marshaling Cry gives your whole team +1/+1 and vigilance until end of turn — and if it's in your graveyard, you can cycle it for two mana to cast it again, effectively doubling its value over a long game. It's a low-ceiling anthem with a high-floor reusability trick, best in token decks that can swing wide and need the graveyard recursion to matter.

In Commander, Marshaling Cry earns its slot in token-wide go-wide strategies — the cycling clause effectively makes it a two-cast spell over a game, which matters more in 40-life formats where a single alpha strike often isn't enough. In Pauper, it sees genuine consideration in white weenie and token shells where every bulk common that pulls double duty has real value. Legacy and Vintage have no use for it; the power level threshold is simply too high for a sorcery-speed +1/+1 anthem to register.

Price Context
Current price
$0.24 bulk tier
At $0.24, Marshaling Cry is deep bulk — you're paying almost nothing for a card that reliably does its job in the right shell. Bulk commons rarely appreciate, so buy it for the effect, not the foil spec.
