Mardu Blazebringer puts a 4/4 trampler on the board for three mana — that's the deal — but the cost is giving an opponent a 1/1 whenever it attacks. In decks that want a big body fast and don't care about handing out tokens, it delivers; everywhere else, the drawback outweighs the rate.
Format Analysis

In Commander, Mardu Blazebringer is a fringe inclusion at best — giving any opponent a 1/1 each combat cycle is a steep tax in a multiplayer environment where those gifts compound across three other players. Aggressive red or Mardu strategies that win before the tokens matter can squeeze value out of it, but most Commander tables run long enough that the drawback becomes a real liability. In Modern and Pioneer it's too slow and too punishing for a format where every card slot needs to pull weight without helping the opponent. Legacy and Vintage have no interest in a three-mana 4/4 with strings attached when those formats offer unconditional threats at the same or lower cost.

Current price
$0.05 bulk tier
At $0.05, Mardu Blazebringer is deep bulk — you're paying for cardboard, not power. That price reflects the narrow demand accurately and isn't going anywhere.
