Marble Titan locks every creature with power 3 or greater — including your opponents' entire boards — out of attacking or blocking, and it does it passively for four mana. If your gameplan runs small creatures or goes wide with tokens, Marble Titan is a one-sided soft-lock that demands an answer.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Commander is where Marble Titan has real teeth: multiplayer tables run high-power threats constantly, and a four-mana 3/3 that blankets all of them is a political and practical weapon in white stax or pillow-fort shells. In Legacy and Vintage it's unplayable — faster formats kill you before the static ability matters, and neither format is soft on four-mana do-nothings. Modern is technically legal but the same problem applies; there's no shell that wants this effect at this cost when cheaper options exist. Marble Titan is a Commander card that happens to have other format legality on paper.

Price Context
Current price
$1.88 cheap tier
At $1.88, Marble Titan sits in impulse-buy territory — cheap enough to test without commitment. It's a niche card with a narrow home, so don't expect the price to move meaningfully in either direction.
