Loot, the Key to Everything turns every key token you generate into a loot effect, stacking value fast in any deck that makes Treasure, Clue, or Map tokens. The cost is a two-mana legendary that does nothing alone — but in the right shell, it's a draw engine that compounds every turn.
Format Analysis

In Commander, Loot, the Key to Everything is a low-cost engine that rewards token-dense strategies — any deck leaning on Treasure, Clue, or Food generation gets real card filtering out of it, often every turn. Outside Commander, the card is legal in Standard, Pioneer, Modern, Legacy, and Vintage, but non-rotating formats already have denser competition for two-mana value creatures, and Loot doesn't do enough on its own to earn a slot over more self-sufficient options. Standard is where it has the most realistic shot — aggressive artifact and token strategies there can loop key tokens frequently enough to justify the slot.

Price Context
Current price
$0.35 bulk tier
At $0.35, Loot, the Key to Everything sits firmly in bulk territory, which makes it a zero-risk inclusion to test in any token-heavy Commander build. Bulk rares with narrow conditions tend to stay cheap unless a specific combo breaks them wide open, so don't expect the price to move unless a new key-token synergy warps a format.
