Lightwalker is a two-mana 2/1 flier that gains double strike as long as you control another creature with a +1/+1 counter on it — a ceiling that's easy to hit in the right shell and irrelevant outside it. If your deck is already stacking counters, this is a threat that closes games; if it isn't, it's just an underpowered beater.

Lightwalker is a Commander card through and through — the counter synergy it demands is abundant in proliferate, Simic-style, and Voltron builds where enabling double strike on a two-drop is genuinely powerful. In Pauper, the condition is harder to meet consistently and the body too small to carry the burden, so it sits at the fringes. Modern and Pioneer have more efficient two-drops at every turn, and the conditional double strike doesn't compete with creatures that are simply better on rate. Legacy and Vintage won't look at it twice. Stick to Commander, in a deck built around +1/+1 counters.

Price Context
Current price
$0.07 bulk tier
At $0.07, Lightwalker is deep bulk — you're picking this out of a common box or tossing it in a trade pile. There's no price floor to speak of, and no scarcity angle that would push it higher unless a prominent counter-heavy commander spikes demand.
