Lightbringer

In Commander, Lightbringer is a fringe inclusion in white weenie or tribal decks that expect heavy black presence — Shadowborn Apostle builds, Tergrid lists, or pods where black commanders are the recurring threat. The exile clause matters against recursive threats like Sheoldred or K'rrik, but the tap-and-sacrifice cost means you get exactly one use, and the color restriction will strand it in hand against three of your four opponents most games. In Pauper, Lightbringer sees essentially no play — cheap black removal is everywhere and a 2/2 that conditionally handles one thing isn't competing. Legacy and Vintage are non-starters; the effect isn't close to rate.
