Legion Conquistador is a 2/2 Vampire Soldier for three mana whose enter-the-battlefield trigger lets you search your library for up to three copies of itself and put them into your hand — a built-in engine that refills your hand with bodies every time one lands. The cost is real: three mana for a vanilla 2/2 is below rate, and the payoff only matters if your deck can exploit multiple copies or loop them, such as with Wheel of Sun and Moon sending them back to be found again.

Legion Conquistador is a Commander and Pauper card through and through — in singleton Commander it's technically only one copy, so the search trigger is mostly a flavor whiff unless you pair it with effects that shuffle your graveyard back in like Wheel of Sun and Moon, but in Pauper you can run the full four copies and the trigger becomes a legitimate value engine that floods your hand with bodies on a single resolved attack. In Legacy, Modern, and Pioneer it competes against formats so hostile to three-mana 2/2s that it never sees meaningful play. Stick to Pauper tribal or Commander shells explicitly built around the loop.

$0.04 bulk tier
At $0.04, Legion Conquistador is deep bulk — the kind of card you pull from a common box without thinking twice. The price isn't going anywhere; demand is narrow and supply is high, so pick up copies freely and don't expect movement in either direction.
