Leave // Chance empties your entire board into your hand for two mana — the cleanest setup for Barren Glory's win condition in the game. Both halves are purpose-built for that combo, and outside of it, neither half is good enough to justify the slot.

Commander is the only format where Leave // Chance sees real play, and even there it's narrowly slotted into Barren Glory combo shells rather than general goodstuff piles. In Legacy and Vintage the effect is too slow and telegraphed to compete with the format's threat density. Modern and Pioneer have access to more redundant bounce and wheel effects at similar price points, so Leave // Chance doesn't make the cut competitively. Treat it as a Commander-only piece.
