Kor Line-Slinger taps any creature your opponent controls when it attacks — a repeatable soft-lock that blanks blockers and keeps threats neutralized without spending a card. The catch is that it requires Equipment to function, so outside dedicated Equipment or Kor shells it's a vanilla 1/1.

In Commander, Kor Line-Slinger earns a slot specifically in Equipment-heavy decks — Akiri, Shalai and Hallar, or any Boros commander leaning on Kor synergies — where it taps down a blocker or a threat every combat for free. Outside that niche, a 1/1 that does nothing without a sword attached is too conditional for a 100-card format. In Pauper it competes with more efficient tappers and combat tricks at common, and the Equipment dependency makes it worse there than creatures that just tap something unconditionally. Legacy and Vintage are non-starters — the power floor is too low.

Price Context
Current price
$0.05 bulk tier
At $0.05, Kor Line-Slinger is deep bulk — you're paying for cardboard, not the card. That price reflects its narrow role accurately and isn't going anywhere unless an Equipment-matters theme gets a breakout commander, which would move it to $0.25 territory at best.
