Kolaghan Stormsinger

In Commander, Kolaghan Stormsinger earns a slot in any red deck that needs redundant haste enablers — Goblin tribal, dragon stompy, or anything cheating large creatures into play. Competitive non-rotating formats like Legacy and Vintage have enough one-mana threats that a creature devoted purely to haste-granting rarely makes the cut over spells that do the same job without occupying a body. Modern and Pioneer sit in the same boat — functional, but the competition at one mana is fierce enough that Kolaghan Stormsinger stays on the fringes. Pauper is its most natural home outside Commander, where common-legal haste enablers are limited and a 2/1 that attacks the same turn it arrives contributes real board presence.
