Knight of the Holy Nimbus card art
Knight of the Holy Nimbus is a 2/2 first striker for two mana whose regeneration shield costs your opponent rather than you — they pay two or it doesn't die. That built-in tax makes it punishing to block or target, and the white weenie shell rewards exactly that kind of sticky, efficient attacker.

In Commander, Knight of the Holy Nimbus slots into white weenie aggro or knight tribal builds as a cheap, resilient threat that taxes removal — opponents burning mana to kill a two-drop is a real tempo win at a table of four. In Legacy and Vintage it's outclassed by faster threats and more efficient disruption, so Knight of the Holy Nimbus sees essentially no competitive play in those formats. Modern is similarly unkind; the two-mana slot is brutally competitive and a 2/2 with conditional regeneration doesn't clear the bar. Oathbreaker mirrors the Commander read — fine in the right 60-card creature build, invisible outside it.

$0.14 bulk tier

At $0.14, Knight of the Holy Nimbus is pure bulk — grab a copy out of any commons box without thinking twice. Demand is too narrow for the price to move; it's a card you slot in for free, not one you track.
