Knight of Infamy is a two-mana 2/1 with exalted and protection from white — a reasonable body for an aggressive black-white Knights build, but too fragile and format-narrow to matter outside dedicated tribal lists. The protection clause is its one real selling point; without a deck built to exploit exalted triggers repeatedly, it's just a 2/1 that dies to a stiff breeze.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Knight of Infamy sees essentially no play in Legacy or Vintage, where the competition at two mana is brutal and a 2/1 without an immediate effect on the board isn't a consideration. In Commander, it lands almost exclusively in tribal Knight builds — Syr Gwyn, Hero of Ashvale being the obvious home — where the exalted trigger stacks and protection from white occasionally blanks a removal spell. Outside that narrow tribal context, Knight of Infamy has no role in the format; 40-life games and four opponents make a single exalted trigger on a small body largely irrelevant.

Price Context
Current price
$0.22 bulk tier
At $0.22, Knight of Infamy is firmly bulk, and that price is stable — there's no demand pressure to push it higher. It's a painless inclusion if you're building the right deck, but don't expect it to appreciate.
