Knight Errant puts a 1/1 flying token into play every turn for two mana — that's a steady air force on a body that costs almost nothing to slot in. Bulk rare, bulk price, above-bulk output in any deck that cares about tokens or evasive attackers.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |

| modern | not legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
In Commander, Knight Errant fits cleanly into token-wide strategies and aristocrats shells that want a repeating creature source without spending cards — the flying on the tokens is a genuine differentiator from ground-floor producers. In Pauper it's legal but competes against stronger common token generators, so it rarely makes the cut. Legacy and Vintage have it on the legal list, but the power floor in those formats is high enough that a two-mana 2/2 with a slow engine doesn't register. Knight Errant is, practically speaking, a Commander and casual card.

Price Context
Current price
$0.11 bulk tier
At $0.11, Knight Errant is deep bulk — grab it out of a common box or tag it as a penny pickup on any order. That price is stable; there's no scarcity or spike ceiling on a card this accessible.
