Kheru Mind-Eater swings into combat and lets you cast whatever you exile from the top of a defending player's library — free spells, on their dime, every time it connects. The catch is a 3/2 body for three mana that needs to actually deal combat damage, which means it folds to any chump blocker or removal spell before the payoff arrives.
Format Analysis

Commander is the only format where Kheru Mind-Eater earns its slot, and even there it's a niche inclusion. Three opponents mean three libraries to raid, and in a long game the stolen spells can generate real card advantage — but only if the deck is built to force damage through via evasion grants or combat tricks. Legacy and Vintage are both technically legal, but a fragile three-mana creature that requires combat damage to trigger has no business in those formats. Kheru Mind-Eater is a Commander card, full stop.

Price Context
Current price
$0.74 bulk tier
At $0.74, Kheru Mind-Eater sits firmly in bulk territory — low buy-in for a card whose ceiling is genuinely high if it connects repeatedly. It won't appreciate meaningfully unless a popular theft-synergy commander pushes demand, so treat it as a cheap experiment rather than a spec.
