Keening Apparition is a two-mana 2/2 that sacrifices itself to destroy any enchantment — clean, unconditional, and available at common. The body is irrelevant filler; the removal mode is the entire reason to run it, and in most contexts something with a lower opportunity cost does the job better.

Keening Apparition is a pauper-legal common, and that's the format where it's most credible — enchantment removal at instant speed is scarce at common, and a body that trades up against an Aura or a Rune is acceptable value. In Commander, it competes with enchantment removal that either hits multiple targets, cantrips, or costs one mana, so Keening Apparition rarely makes the 99 outside of dedicated spirit-tribal builds where the type line carries extra weight. Legacy, Vintage, and Modern have access to strictly better options, and Pioneer's enchantment-heavy metagame still prefers answers that don't require sacrificing your own creature.

Pricing data isn't currently available for Keening Apparition, but as a common it almost certainly sits at bulk — under $0.25 at any vendor. Pick it up whenever you need a spirit-typed enchantment answer on the cheap; there's no price argument against it at that tier.
