Karfell Kennel-Master gives all Zombies you control menace, and it does it as a static ability on a three-mana body — no hoops, no activation cost. It's a payoff card for Zombie tribal that earns its slot by making every attacking Zombie a two-blocker problem.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

In Commander, Karfell Kennel-Master belongs in any Zombie tribal build where the gameplan is attacking through established boards — the menace grant stacks with other evasion like flying and makes chump-blocking irrelevant. Pauper is where it quietly over-performs: Zombie synergies are real at common, and a three-mana anthem effect that doesn't cost a card per activation is genuinely efficient at that power level. In Modern and Pioneer it's too slow and too narrow to see constructed play when tribal payoffs have a much higher bar. Legacy and Vintage are non-starters — the card doesn't interact with anything those formats care about.

Price Context
Current price
$0.12 bulk tier
At $0.12, Karfell Kennel-Master is bulk, and that price is stable — there's no spike risk and no trajectory upward on a single-printing tribal role-player. You're paying a dime for real functionality in Zombie decks, which is exactly what bulk rares are supposed to be.
