Kaboom! is legal in Commander, Legacy, Vintage, and Oathbreaker, but only Commander gives it a plausible home — specifically in chaos or Group Slug builds where variance is a feature, or in decks that stack the top of the library with high-CMC cards to guarantee meaningful damage.
