Jungle Wayfinder puts a land in every player's hand when it enters — useful group-slug bait, but the symmetry is the cost. Run it when your deck either abuses landfall triggers enough to pull ahead of the table or wants to accelerate political goodwill; otherwise, a Wood Elves effect that doesn't give opponents anything is almost always stronger.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | not legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Jungle Wayfinder is a Commander card front to back — the symmetrical land-to-hand effect is only worth tolerating when you have landfall payoffs or political leverage that four-player tables provide. In Pauper it's legal but irrelevant; green has better two-mana accelerants that don't hand opponents free resources. Legacy and Vintage are also legal on paper, but no competitive shell there wants a 2/2 that helps the table. Oathbreaker follows the same logic as Commander — it can slot into a landfall-centric build, though the smaller starting life totals make giving opponents free cards riskier.

Price Context
Current price
$0.07 bulk tier
At $0.07, Jungle Wayfinder is deep bulk — you're paying for cardboard and shipping, not the card itself. That price is stable because demand is narrow and supply is plentiful; don't expect movement in either direction.
