Jagged Poppet forces an opponent to discard cards equal to the damage it deals — staple that onto a free giver-effect from The Beamtown Bullies and you're making an enemy dump their hand on your turn. The cost is the fragility: a 3/1 for three mana that opponents will happily chump or shoot before it connects a second time.

The Beamtown Bullies
The Beamtown Bullies pitches Jagged Poppet onto an opponent's board for free at end of combat, meaning whoever received it must attack with it — and when they do, they discard cards equal to combat damage dealt to that same opponent or anyone else at the table.

Jagged Poppet is a Commander card first and almost entirely. In Legacy and Vintage, three mana for a 3/1 with a conditional discard trigger doesn't clear the bar when dedicated discard packages and faster clocks exist. Commander is where it earns its slot: multiplayer means the forced-attack clause punishes the recipient politically, the discard scales against 7-card hands, and the Beamtown Bullies engine removes the casting cost entirely. Oathbreaker is a legal home too, but the 20-life starting total and faster games make the fragile body a liability more often than not.

$0.31 bulk tier
At $0.31, Jagged Poppet sits firmly in bulk territory — you're picking this up as a throw-in, not a purchase. Bulk rares with narrow homes rarely climb unless the commander archetype spikes in popularity, so treat it as a low-risk include rather than anything to trade for.
