Intet, the Dreamer lets you exile the top card of any opponent's library whenever it deals combat damage and cast it for free — repeatable top-deck theft on a 6/6 flying, trample body is a genuine threat. The cost is the mana investment: six mana and an additional three to lock in the free cast, which means Intet, the Dreamer demands a deck built to protect it and push through damage reliably.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Commander is the only format where Intet, the Dreamer does real work. As a commander, it headlins a Temur value shell built around connecting repeatedly — haste enablers, evasion buffs, and bounce protection turn every attack into a free spell from someone else's deck. In Legacy and Vintage it's technically legal but absurdly outclassed; no competitive shell wants a six-mana creature that asks you to pay three more before it does anything. Oathbreaker is theoretically possible but the format's tighter curve and faster clocks make a six-drop with a delayed payoff a poor fit.

Price Context
Current price
$0.50 bulk tier
At $0.50, Intet, the Dreamer sits firmly in bulk territory — you can pick up copies without thinking twice about the budget. The price reflects a relatively niche Commander audience rather than any ceiling on the card's power, and it's unlikely to spike without a reprint catalyst or sudden surge in Temur dragon builds.
