Infernal Harvest trades swamplands for targeted -1/-1 effects spread across any number of creatures — the payoff scales hard with how many Swamps you can sacrifice. The catch is permanent: those lands don't come back, so this is a desperation play or a finisher, not a recurring tool.

In Commander, Infernal Harvest is a niche but real card in mono-black land-rich lists — the ability to distribute -1/-1 freely across any number of targets at instant speed is legitimately flexible, and late-game it can wipe token boards or finish off weakened creatures after a sweeper. The permanent land cost keeps it out of competitive lists but fits in casual or battlecruiser pods where you have land to spare. In Pauper it's legal but outclassed by cheaper, more efficient black removal that doesn't ask you to sacrifice your mana base. Legacy and Vintage have access to it, but no meaningful shell wants to trade irreplaceable duals for -1/-1 counters. Infernal Harvest is a Commander-or-bust card.

Price Context
Current price
$0.13 bulk tier
At $0.13, Infernal Harvest is deep bulk — you'll find it in a common box or a bulk rare bin without looking hard. It's not a card with upward price pressure; the narrow use case keeps demand low and supply abundant.
