Incriminate card art
Incriminate forces an opponent to sacrifice a creature or redirect a destroy-target removal spell onto one of their own creatures — at instant speed, for one black mana. That rate is real, and in multiplayer Commander the political dimension (choosing whose creature eats the effect) makes it punching well above bulk-common status.

In Commander, Incriminate earns its slot in sacrifice-matters and reanimator shells that want cheap interaction without spending two or three mana — the one-mana floor keeps it from clogging a curve and the instant speed means it answers threats on the way in. In Pauper, where one-mana black interaction is at a premium and creature matchups are common, Incriminate is a legitimate sideboard option against midrange boards. Legacy, Modern, and Vintage have Fatal Push, Snuff Out, and harder removal at similar or lower costs, so Incriminate doesn't crack those 75s. Oathbreaker mirrors Commander's multiplayer logic closely enough that the same shell evaluation applies.

Price Context

Current price

$0.05 bulk tier

At $0.05, Incriminate is deep bulk — a throwaway pickup you grab in a trade binder without thinking twice. That price floor is stable; there's no spike profile here, just a functional common that costs less than a sleeve.
