In Commander, Ignite Disorder earns its slot specifically in red-heavy builds that routinely get stonewalled by protection — Zirilan of the Claw or Purphoros, God of the Forge lists, for instance, where white players know to shield their blockers. In Legacy and Vintage it's too narrow for a main deck slot but has fringe sideboard use against white creature strategies. Modern sees it as deep sideboard tech at best, since protection from red is uncommon enough that dedicated removal handles most threats.
