Hollowsage forces each opponent to discard a card whenever you untap it — repeatable, symmetry-free hand disruption stapled to a creature. The cost is a 2/3 body that does nothing the turn it enters and dies to any incidental removal before you ever untap.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

Commander is where Hollowsage earns its slot: three opponents means three discards every time it untaps, and in a long game that pressure compounds fast. Pair it with untap effects or flicker and the hand disruption scales into something opponents have to answer. In Legacy and Vintage it's too slow and too fragile — those formats kill you before Hollowsage untaps twice, and dedicated discard shells have better tools. Oathbreaker can support it in the right shell, but the smaller starting hand size makes the payoff less dramatic than in Commander.

Price Context
Current price
$0.13 bulk tier
At $0.13, Hollowsage is deep bulk — you're paying less than a sleeve for what can be a recurring engine in the right deck. Bulk rares with narrow appeal tend to stay at this floor, so don't expect movement, but there's no reason not to pick one up if it fits your build.
