Henchfiend of Ukor is a two-mana 2/2 that taxes your opponents every time it or another Demon enters — a repeatable drain effect stapled to a body that costs almost nothing to include. In any black deck running a critical mass of Demons, it converts your curve into inevitability.

In Commander, Henchfiend of Ukor earns its slot in Demon tribal builds where each new Demon entering multiplies the drain around the table, turning a board-flooding strategy into a life-total clock. In Pauper it competes for space in aggressive black shells, where the triggered drain can close games that go slightly long, though it has to fight for slots against more immediately threatening two-drops. Legacy and Vintage have no real interest — the effect is too slow and the body too small to register in those formats. Oathbreaker mirrors the Commander read: it's solid in Demon-heavy lists and irrelevant outside them.

Price Context
Current price
$0.04 bulk tier
At $0.04, Henchfiend of Ukor is deep bulk — the floor of the market. That price holds because the card has a narrow tribal home and no crossover demand, so don't expect movement unless Demon tribal gets a high-profile competitive push.
