Headlong Rush gives your entire team first strike until end of turn at instant speed for one red mana — that's a combat trick that can flip a blocked attack or neutralize an opposing alpha strike outright. It's a narrow but real effect, and in any deck that wants to win through combat damage it earns its slot.
Format Analysis

In Commander, Headlong Rush is a fringe inclusion — combat tricks are generally weak in a multiplayer format where you can't predict which player is attacking which, but mass first strike on a wide board is a different proposition than a single-target pump. Legacy and Vintage have no interest in it; those formats kill before combat tricks matter. Pauper is where Headlong Rush has the most plausible home, particularly in red aggro or go-wide token strategies where flipping combat math in one swing can decide a game on the spot.

Price Context
Current price
$0.13 bulk tier
At $0.13, Headlong Rush is deep bulk — you're paying next to nothing for a card with a narrow but functional effect. Don't expect that price to move; demand is too low and supply too broad for it to appreciate.
