Haazda Officer puts a 1/1 citizen token onto the battlefield the moment it attacks, giving you a body before damage even resolves. The rate — a 2/2 for three mana that generates a token on attack — is too slow and too small for most competitive contexts, but it earns a seat in token-doubler and go-wide Commander builds that want every attacker to carry a rider.

In Commander, Haazda Officer fits narrow but functional roles: go-wide white decks that want every attacker to generate a body, particularly those running token doublers like Anointed Procession. In Pauper it's a common, but a 2/2 for three that makes a 1/1 on attack doesn't clear the bar in an aggressive field where three mana needs to do much more. Modern and Pioneer have no room for it — token generators at this rate were outclassed years ago. Legacy and Vintage are non-starters. The honest home for Haazda Officer is casual Commander, specifically inside a dedicated tokens or citizen-tribal shell where the incremental board presence compounds over a long game.

Price Context
Current price
$0.05 bulk tier
At $0.05, Haazda Officer is deep bulk — you're picking it out of a commons box, not tracking it on a market. That price reflects its narrow application and near-zero crossover demand outside casual Commander, so don't expect movement in either direction.
