Gust Walker sees its most meaningful play in Pauper, where common-only pools keep the power ceiling low enough that a conditional 3/3 flier with vigilance is genuinely threatening. In Commander, it's outclassed by nearly every white two-drop with a relevant keyword or enters-the-battlefield effect — 100-card decks can't afford a card that needs a follow-up spell to do anything relevant. Modern, Legacy, and Vintage have long since moved past 2/2s that require investment to grow, so Gust Walker doesn't register there either. It's a card for Pauper aggro or Draft cubes, full stop.
