Griffin Dreamfinder enters and returns any enchantment from your graveyard to your hand — a 4/3 flyer that doubles as enchantment recursion is a real two-for-one. The six-mana cost is the ceiling here: in faster formats it's too slow, but in Commander, where Mana Echoes and similar enchantments are worth protecting, that price is acceptable.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | legal |
| pioneer | legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Griffin Dreamfinder is a Commander card through and through — the format's slower pace lets a six-mana 4/3 actually resolve, and the enchantment-heavy decks that want it (enchantress builds, aura voltron, constellation) run plenty of targets worth recurring. In Pauper it's legal but too expensive for a format defined by aggressive curves and efficient commons. Legacy, Modern, and Pioneer are non-starters; Griffin Dreamfinder offers nothing competitive formats can't get faster and cheaper elsewhere. Oathbreaker is the one non-Commander 60-card variant where enchantment synergy decks might occasionally reach for it, but the six-mana ask still stings.

Current price
$0.03 bulk tier
At $0.03, Griffin Dreamfinder is deep bulk — you're picking it out of a dollar box, not paying for it individually. That price is stable because demand is narrow; enchantress Commander builds can use it, but it's never a four-of anywhere, so don't expect movement in either direction.
