Grenzo's Rebuttal puts a 4/4 Devil token into play and gives your opponents a 1/1 Goblin each — then lets you steal the best Goblin on the board, which is almost certainly one of your own Devils flipped into something better. Six mana is steep, but the net result is a token, a theft, and a political headache for the table.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |

Grenzo's Rebuttal is a Commander-only card in practice — Legacy and Vintage have no interest in a six-mana sorcery that generates one token and conditionally steals a creature, and Oathbreaker's smaller life totals and faster games make the cost too prohibitive to matter. In Commander it has a home in token-go-wide and theft strategies, particularly those already generating Goblins or Devils, where the steal effect lands on something genuinely threatening rather than a vanilla 1/1.

Price Context
Current price
$0.13 bulk tier
At $0.13, Grenzo's Rebuttal is deep bulk — you're paying for the cardboard, not the effect. That price is stable simply because demand is narrow; it won't spike unless a dedicated Grenzo theft shell breaks into mainstream Commander discussion.
