In Commander, Greenbelt Rampager is a build-around piece rather than a generalist — it belongs in dedicated Energy decks that can convert the bounce loop into card advantage, tokens, or damage triggers, and it does that job cheaply. Modern and Pioneer are where Greenbelt Rampager has seen real competitive play, specifically in Aetherworks Marvel and Energy aggro shells that weaponize the free enter-the-battlefield loop to fuel payoffs at scale. Legacy and Vintage have faster, more degenerate one-drops, so it rarely shows up there. The card is legal in Oathbreaker as well, where the same Energy synergy logic applies.
