Godtoucher gives a target creature shroud until end of turn for two mana at instant speed — narrow protection that trades universally against targeted removal. It sees play almost exclusively as a one-of in Commander shells that need to keep a specific creature alive through a combo turn.

Godtoucher is a bulk common in every format that will run it, and that ceiling is low. In Commander, the only reason to slot it is protecting a key piece on the stack or at the start of your combo turn — but hexproof staples like Swiftfoot Boots and Lightning Greaves do that job permanently and at comparable or lower cost. In Pauper, the shroud effect is too narrow and too reactive to earn a maindeck slot in any established archetype. Legacy and Vintage have no interest in a two-mana do-nothing protection spell.
