In Commander, Glistener Seer is a narrow role-player: proliferate-matters decks and infect decks both want the scry to find poison enablers or key pieces, and the one-mana cost means it comes down early without disrupting the curve. Outside Commander, the card sees essentially no competitive play — Modern and Legacy have far more efficient cantrips and scry effects stapled to better bodies or spells.
