Glint-Sleeve Siphoner is a two-mana menace creature that converts energy into card draw — put it on the table early and it starts replacing itself every turn you can pay the energy tax. The catch is that energy has to come from somewhere, so it's a payoff card, not a self-sufficient engine.

In Commander, Glint-Sleeve Siphoner fits cleanly into energy-matters decks where Atraxa, Praetors' Voice or Meren-adjacent black-green builds generate surplus counters — it turns idle energy into cards, which is exactly what those shells want. Outside of a dedicated energy shell it's underwhelming; a 2/1 menace for two that draws one card per turn is fine but not competitive with the format's stronger two-drop draw options. In Pioneer and Modern it saw legitimate sideboard and main-deck play during energy's competitive window, particularly in black-green midrange lists that paired it with Attune with Aether and Aether Hub. Legacy and Vintage have no interest — the rate doesn't come close to clearing the bar in those formats.
