Gliding Licid card art
Gliding Licid turns itself into a flying enchantment on a creature you control — a fragile, mana-hungry trick that demands two mana to attach and can be broken by any instant-speed removal on the host. Outside of niche Licid synergy builds, the payoff doesn't justify the setup cost.

oathbreaker

Gliding Licid is legal in Commander, Legacy, Vintage, and Oathbreaker, but sees essentially no play in any of them. In Commander, the flying-granting effect is so cheap to replicate with Auras or equipment that Gliding Licid's cumbersome activation and vulnerability to removal make it a non-starter. Legacy and Vintage have no interest — the effect is irrelevant at those power levels. Oathbreaker follows the same logic as Commander: better options exist at lower opportunity cost.

Price Context

Current price

$0.16 bulk tier

At $0.16, Gliding Licid sits firmly in bulk territory — you're paying for cardboard, not power. That price is unlikely to move; there's no competitive demand pulling it upward, and it will stay a quarter-bin card indefinitely.
