Giant Badger is a 2/2 for 2G that pumps to a 4/4 when it blocks — a fine blocker in theory, but the pump only matters on defense, and a 2/2 body that costs three mana never wins a board in Commander. It's a bulk common for a reason.

Giant Badger is legal in Commander, Legacy, Modern, Vintage, Pauper, and Oathbreaker, but legal doesn't mean playable.
