Ghostblade Eidolon staples double strike onto any creature for two mana via bestow, turning modest attackers into threats that demand an answer. The floor — a 1/1 double striker for two — is unimpressive on its own, but Pearl-Ear, Imperial Advisor and any voltron commander that wants to stack one aura and immediately threaten lethal makes the bestow ceiling the entire point.

Ghostblade Eidolon sees essentially zero play in competitive Constructed — Modern and Pioneer have faster, more resilient ways to push double strike, and the bestow cost is too slow against those fields. In Legacy and Vintage it's outclassed entirely. Commander is where Ghostblade Eidolon lives: voltron decks want redundant, cheap double-strike enablers that stick to the board as auras even if the creature dies, and the two-mana floor means it rarely feels like a dead card in hand. Aura-synergy commanders in particular get real mileage out of it as a low-opportunity-cost slot.
