Geralf's Mindcrusher enters and immediately mills five cards, then does it again every time it's cast from a graveyard — that recursive mill pressure is the entire point. The five-mana cost is real, but Gisa and Geralf turns that into an engine rather than a drawback, and Skeleton Ship decks that want cheap recurring bodies have no complaints at this price.

Gisa and Geralf
Gisa and Geralf lets you cast Geralf's Mindcrusher directly from your graveyard, which means every cycle through the bin is another five cards milled — the loop is the game plan, not a bonus.

Commander is where Geralf's Mindcrusher actually lives — 100-card decks mean 30 cards milled across two casts can strip key pieces from multiple opponents, and Zombie tribal reanimation loops make the recursive trigger repeatable. In Legacy and Vintage it's legal but irrelevant; five mana for a mill-five effect doesn't compete in those formats. Modern has faster mill payoffs and better five-drops, so Geralf's Mindcrusher doesn't crack lists there either. Stick to Commander, specifically Zombie or graveyard-recursive shells where the recast trigger snowballs.

Current price
$0.17 bulk tier
At $0.17, Geralf's Mindcrusher is deep bulk — you're picking this out of a commons box, not buying it. That price will hold because demand is narrow and supply is abundant; there's no reason to expect movement in either direction.
