Gaea's Might is a one-mana pump spell that scales with basic Forest count — in a mono-green deck, that's easily +4/+4 or more for a single green mana. It's a legitimate combat trick in the right shell and dead weight everywhere else.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | legal |
| pioneer | legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Gaea's Might is legal across Commander, Legacy, Modern, Pioneer, Pauper, Vintage, and Oathbreaker, but its relevance varies sharply by format. In Commander it slots into mono-green or heavily green stompy lists where basic Forest counts routinely hit five or six, making it a cheap combat trick that can close out a game or save a key creature. In Pauper it competes for a slot in green aggro, where the basic-land clause is easier to satisfy than in multicolor formats, but the sorcery speed on a non-combat-step card would hurt it — thankfully it's an instant. Modern and Legacy are hostile territory: non-basic mana bases gut the bonus, and better pump spells exist at the same price.

$0.10 bulk tier
At $0.10, Gaea's Might is deep bulk — you're buying it out of a commons box, not tracking it on a spreadsheet. Its narrow format requirements mean demand stays low, so expect the price to stay right where it is.
