Forlorn Pseudamma enters as a 2/2 with intimidate and generates a 2/2 Zombie token whenever an opponent draws their second card each turn — passive pressure that scales with draw-heavy tables. The four-mana cost is fair for what it does, but this card earns its slot only in decks that can exploit the token stream.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | legal |
| pioneer | legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
In Commander, Forlorn Pseudamma earns a real role: with three opponents drawing cards every turn, the trigger fires reliably every round of the table without any support, and the Zombie type makes it a clean auto-include in Zombie tribal builds. In Modern and Pioneer the card is legal but effectively unplayable — four mana for a 2/2 that generates value only on opponents' draw steps is far too slow against those format's tempo demands. Legacy and Vintage have the same problem compounded: the formats move too fast for a passive token generator at this cost to matter. Oathbreaker is the one non-Commander 60-card context where it could occasionally show up, specifically in a wheel-based shell that spams opponent draws, but even there it's fringe.

$0.06 bulk tier
At $0.06, Forlorn Pseudamma is deep bulk — the floor of what a Magic card costs. That price is stable by definition; bulk rares rarely spike unless a new commander or combo context emerges to push demand.
