Flesh Allergy kills a creature and drains life equal to the number of creatures that died this turn — stapled together on a two-mana instant, that's often 4–8 damage to an opponent's face while removing a threat. It earns its slot in any black deck that generates sacrifice fodder, and it's a strict upgrade over removal spells that don't close life totals.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

| modern | legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
In Commander, Flesh Allergy shines in sacrifice-heavy black shells where the drain trigger routinely hits double digits — one well-timed cast after a board wipe or a Grave Pact chain can drop a player from safe life totals into range. Legacy and Vintage have no interest in it; those formats demand cheaper, more consistent interaction and don't reward a life-drain rider. Modern is technically legal but Flesh Allergy competes poorly against Fatal Push and Infernal Grasp, both of which are cheaper and more unconditional. This is fundamentally a Commander card, and a good one in the right shell.

Price Context
Current price
$0.16 bulk tier
At $0.16, Flesh Allergy is deep bulk — the kind of card you pick up as a throw-in without thinking. That price is stable; it sees no competitive play to spike it, but the casual demand in sacrifice Commander decks is real enough that copies won't disappear from the market.
