Modern has largely passed it by — the format's threats are faster and more efficient — but Figure of Destiny remains a budget option for aggressive Boros builds that want a one-drop with a high ceiling. Oathbreaker mirrors the Commander read: it shines most when the commander synergizes with hybrid costs or activated abilities.
