Fiery Cannonade card art
Fiery Cannonade kills every non-Pirate creature on the board for three mana — that's a one-sided wrath in any Pirate deck, and it's exactly why Breeches, Brazen Plunderer // Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator runs it in nearly half its lists. Three mana at sorcery speed is the only real cost, and the asymmetry more than pays for it.

Commander is where Fiery Cannonade earns its keep — token strategies and creature-heavy pods are ubiquitous, and a three-mana one-sided wrath in a Pirate shell is close to unconditional card advantage. In Pauper it's a legitimate sideboard option against creature aggro, though the two-damage ceiling misses most threats in that format's upper end. Modern and Pioneer have access to cleaner sweepers at the same cost, so Fiery Cannonade rarely makes those 75s outside of highly tribal-specific brews. Legacy and Vintage have no real use for it given the power level of available interaction.

Price Context

Current price

$0.19 bulk tier

At $0.19, Fiery Cannonade sits firmly in bulk territory — pick it up in any order without a second thought. Bulk rares and uncommons with narrow tribal applications rarely appreciate, so treat this as a throw-in, not a spec.
