Feral Deceiver is a 3/2 trample for four mana that turns every attack into a pseudo-scry by revealing the top card of your library and gaining a temporary power/toughness boost if it's a land. The cost — four mana for a fragile body with a conditional upside — is too steep for most competitive Commander tables.

In Commander, Feral Deceiver sits at the margins: the land-reveal trigger is cute in landfall or top-of-library manipulation decks, but a 3/2 for four mana with no immediate board impact rarely survives to swing. In Pauper, where the card pool is shallow and grinding incremental value matters, it at least competes for a slot in stompy shells that want trample bodies, though better commons exist. Legacy and Vintage don't want it at any price. Feral Deceiver's best home is a very casual Commander deck built around top-of-library synergies — something like Zoraline, Cosmos Caller or a Sensei's Divining Top shell — where the reveal trigger can be reliably converted into a real bonus.

Price Context
Current price
$0.17 bulk tier
At $0.17, Feral Deceiver is deep bulk — the kind of card you pick out of a dollar box, not a singles order. There's no meaningful demand driver that would push the price up, so buy it if you want it, but don't expect it to appreciate.
