Farideh, Devil's Chosen card art
Farideh, Devil's Chosen turns every die roll into a free loot — draw a card and discard a card whenever you roll a die, which in the right shell triggers multiple times per turn cycle. The cost is a four-mana 3/3 with no immediate board impact, so she lives or dies by how many dice your deck rolls; pair her with Wyll, Blade of Frontiers // Sword Coast Sailor and that payoff compounds fast enough to justify the slot.

Wyll, Blade of Frontiers // Sword Coast Sailor rolls a die every time a creature enters under your control, which means Farideh, Devil's Chosen is triggering on every single creature drop — that loop turns a go-wide board into a continuous loot engine that keeps your hand full while fueling Wyll's own counters-and-damage plan.

Farideh, Devil's Chosen is a Commander card through and through — her value scales with volume of die rolls, and Commander is where dice-rolling synergies have enough critical mass to make that consistent. In Legacy, Modern, and Pioneer she's legal but essentially unplayable; three-mana cantrips that require setup exist on far more powerful engines, and competitive non-rotating formats have no interest in a 3/3 that loots when you roll dice. Oathbreaker is the one fringe exception where she could slot into a dice-roll planeswalker shell, but the format's smaller deck size limits redundancy. Treat her as a Commander-exclusive piece and build accordingly.

Price Context

Current price

$0.21 bulk tier

At $0.21, Farideh, Devil's Chosen is deep bulk — you're paying for cardboard, not the card. That price reflects narrow demand rather than low power; she's near-auto-include in Wyll decks and holds stable there, but don't expect significant movement unless dice-rolling becomes a broader competitive archetype.
