Fairgrounds Warden exiles a creature until it leaves — a clean tempo play that doubles as a flicker target in white blink shells. The three-mana 1/3 body is undersized, but the removal effect justifies the slot whenever you can abuse the enter-the-battlefield trigger.

Commander is where Fairgrounds Warden earns its keep, specifically in Brago, King Eternal or Aminatou, the Fateshifter shells that can blink it repeatedly to chain removals or loop the exile as a soft lock. Outside of Commander, it sees essentially no competitive play — Modern and Pioneer have access to cheaper, harder removal that doesn't walk away when the body dies. Legacy and Vintage ignore it entirely. Fairgrounds Warden is a narrow role-player: powerful in the right sixty-card-singleton shell, irrelevant everywhere else.
