Fairgrounds Patrol enters, puts a +1/+1 counter on a creature you control, then replaces itself with a 1/1 Servo token when it dies — three bodies' worth of value stapled to a three-mana 1/1. The rate is too slow for any competitive format, but in token-and-counter strategies it quietly does real work.
Format Analysis

| oathbreaker | legal |
Fairgrounds Patrol is a bulk role-player, and nowhere does that ceiling matter more than Commander, where the bar for a three-mana 1/1 is extremely high — you need the counter and the death trigger to both matter, which limits it to dedicated +1/+1 counter or token synergy decks. In Pauper it's legal but outclassed by cheaper commons that do similar work without the three-mana tax. Legacy, Vintage, and Modern are non-starters; the effect is simply too low-impact for any of those environments. Oathbreaker follows the same logic as Commander — playable only if your signature spell or commander specifically rewards both tokens and counters on the same card.

Price data isn't currently available for Fairgrounds Patrol, but as a bulk common with narrow applications it almost certainly sits well under $0.50 in paper. Pick it up for essentially nothing if the synergy fits — there's no financial downside.
