Ent's Fury deals damage equal to a target Forest's toughness to any target — a removal spell and a finisher stapled together in the right shell. The cost is real: without Fangorn, Tree Shepherd or a similarly Forest-heavy build, you're paying for a conditional spell that underperforms in any deck not stacked with basic Forests.
Best Commanders
Commanders with the highest synergy

Fangorn, Tree Shepherd
Fangorn, Tree Shepherd pumps Forests to enormous toughness values, turning Ent's Fury into a removal spell that routinely hits for eight or more damage — enough to kill commanders or close out a game. That's why over a third of Fangorn decks run it.

Legolas, Master Archer
Legolas, Master Archer decks lean into the Tolkien theme and often pack enough Forests to make Ent's Fury relevant as flexible removal that doubles as direct damage to players.

Ent's Fury is a Commander card through and through — the variance in its damage output is too high for competitive formats, and Legacy, Vintage, and Modern all have better options at the same mana cost. In Commander, it earns its slot only in Forest-dense builds like Fangorn, Tree Shepherd, where a single Forest can threaten double-digit damage. Pauper has the right density of Forest-based strategies for it to see fringe play, but the format also has efficient removal at common that doesn't require setup. Outside of Fangorn and a handful of Landfall or Treefolk builds in Commander, Ent's Fury sits in the binder.

$0.06 bulk tier
At $0.06, Ent's Fury is deep bulk — you'll find copies in any commons bin without looking hard. Bulk rares spike occasionally on demand, but a niche Forest-matters spell with a 34% inclusion rate in one commander's decks has no meaningful price pressure; expect it to stay at the floor.
